A paper milk/juice bottle is already a subject for many arts and crafts ideas – from a bird house to a carton house with windows and doors openings and inside lights.
Today we did a simple project with just acrylic paint, brushes and a pencil – we drew a house with different color facades! It doesn’t have to be perfect – it has to be fun experiment with color and shapes combinations. Draw as many different shaped windows and doors as you like, try adding a balcony or a mansard window, color it either with acrylic paint or acrylic markers. Use a darker color paint or marker to outline the windows and doors.
One tip, that I am always suggesting to anyone who use acrylic paint is that it dries very fast if you leave the paint jar or tube open. I suggest closing paint jars with a cover right away if you don’t use it for more than 15 minutes. Don’t worry about the painting itself – you can always add another layer on top of the dry one or blend it with water – acrylic paint is very flexible in use and can be applied to any surface with no issues 🙂
