Animation tips – Timing and spacing between frames is what creates the illusion of movement in animation. We used 50 frames overall for the ball to move from the first point to the last. Timing involves the number of frames between poses. Overall timing was 2.5 seconds. This video shows the basic movement of the ball, without squashing it shape, when it hits the ground.
Spacing involves how the frames are placed. In other words, how the ball is positioned in those 50 frames. If the spacing is close together, the ball moves slower. Further apart and the ball moves faster.πŸ˜‰πŸ‘
